When exactly does Relay.app shut down?
Relay.app announced the shutdown on July 16, 2026. Free accounts close August 15, 2026 and paid accounts September 14, 2026 (both 11:59 p.m. PT). After each date, accounts and all associated data — including stored app credentials — are permanently deleted.
Can genbase import my Relay.app export automatically?
There's no one-click importer — no platform has one, because Relay exports describe logic, not a portable format. What genbase does instead: paste the AI-readable prompt from your Relay export (or describe the playbook in your own words) and the agent rebuilds it as a live automation, walks you through reconnecting the apps, and runs it once to verify. Most playbooks take a few minutes each.
What happens to my human-in-the-loop approval steps?
They survive — differently. In genbase every automation run is a chat you can open. Where your Relay playbook paused for approval, the agent asks you before acting; you can also open any run mid-flight, watch what it's doing, and redirect it.
Do I have to reconnect all my apps?
Yes — Relay deletes its stored credentials at shutdown, so every alternative requires reconnecting your apps. In genbase the agent handles this in the setup conversation: Slack connects with one-click OAuth, and most other tools take a single pasted key that's tested the moment you save it.
Is my data safe with genbase?
genbase is built by Quadratic, whose security program is SOC 2 Type II certified — live controls and reports are at trust.quadratichq.com, and the full picture is on our trust page at genbase248.com/trust. In the product: credentials are sealed with AES-256-GCM encryption, the model never sees your keys (the agent's computer pulls them per-app at runtime, and every access is audited), and you can revoke any integration at any time.
